When putting together the photographic equipment to go on safari in a game reserve the typical choice would be for ‘long’ lenses and powerful zooms, but 360° Panoramas provide a very different perspective from the photographs of wild life.
Setting up a tripod and panoramic head outside of the vehicle would not be recommended and is probably prohibited, but a small single shot camera on a ‘selfie stick’ can be held above the vehicle to show the ‘complete’ scene when game is spotted or rumoured to be in a particular location.
Click on the shield images to navigate through the 360° Panoramas. These can be switch off and on by clicking the shield image in the top left corner.
Clicking the Cheetah image in the top left corner will scroll through the 360° Panoramas in turn. When this option is used the next image will have exactly the same orientation as the one currently being viewed.
If you have panned around the 360° Panorama and can no longer see the shield icons you can use the Home icon in the icon toolbar at the bottom of the Panorama to return to the default orientation for the 360° Panorama. If the shield icons have been switched off clicking the shield icon in the top left corner will reinstate them.
